I spent some time today on Bodyline's website checking out what pieces I might consider buying next. I ordered my first ensemble from there so, with the launch of their $20 shipping, I figured that I may be in the mood for another purchase within the next month.
However, I soon became more and more frustrated as I saw that all the pieces I found to be adorable or really nice looking were all size m. I am by no means that small of a girl and the lack of anything near my size in piece after piece was frustrating.
Wondering if I was just on the wrong website, I decided to look at the more expensive lolita brands like Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty to see if maybe I was just missing from looking on Bodyline's website. Instead, I found more pieces just in one size.
I realize that a lot of Japanese clothing makers will only have to cater to the size of the average Japanese girl in their design choices. However, it's just depressing for someone who has money but zero tailoring experience not to see their size offered.
